Law aims to increase education training, spot sexual abuse
LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Governor Snyder has signed a bill into law to increase education and training in schools in hopes of preventing children from being sexually abused.
It’s called Erin’s Law, named after Erin Merryn who was sexually abused as a child.
She has been pushing for legislation like this across the country for the past few years.
